Our client is an early-stage robotics finance business focused on transforming industrial automation in Europe and the US. By injecting trust, capital, and strategic guidance into a historically fragmented systems integration sector, they are enabling factories and manufacturers to unlock their next-generation automation projects. They are building the company’s brand and narrative from the ground up, creating credibility with investors, policymakers, customers, and suppliers while shaping the perception of a new industrial category.

Role

  • Lead the development and execution of a global brand and marcomms strategy that positions the company as a trusted partner and category leader in industrial robotics financing.
  • Build the company’s narrative and storytelling framework, ensuring clarity, consistency, and resonance with diverse audiences, including systems integrators, their customers, institutional investors, VCs, and policymakers.
  • Drive strategic communications for pre-revenue, early-stage business, including press, thought leadership, and engagement with key stakeholders.
  • Elevate the company’s profile with high-impact audiences through events, presentations, and partnerships, fostering credibility and trust.
  • Develop brand identity, voice, and governance to ensure consistent application across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial and executive leadership to align brand strategy with business goals and market opportunities.
  • Oversee comms and marketing initiatives that are highly targeted and relationship-driven rather than broad outbound campaigns.
  • Support fundraising and investor engagement through strategic narrative, materials, and messaging tailored to institutional and venture audiences.

Requirements

  • Senior comms and brand leader with experience shaping narrative for early-stage, high-growth businesses, ideally in industrial, technology, or B2B sectors.
  • Proven ability to build and scale a brand from the ground up, especially in pre-revenue or category-creating contexts.
  • Experience engaging senior stakeholders, including institutional investors, VCs, policymakers, and commercial partners.
  • Strong strategic thinking, storytelling, and communication skills, able to translate complex business models into compelling narratives.
  • Comfort operating in fast-evolving, highly regulated environments and building trust in nascent markets.
  • Experience managing high-profile campaigns, thought leadership, and events that elevate brand presence with target audiences.
  • Ability to work remotely in a European context, with flexibility to engage in in-person events as the business scales.
