Our client, a leading European venture capital firm investing in high-growth, category-defining technology companies, is seeking an Events Manager to support and enhance their expanding events programme. With a portfolio spanning early-stage disruptors to globally scaling brands, they play a key role in bringing together founders, operators, and industry leaders across the tech ecosystem.

Known for their deep expertise, collaborative approach, and highly engaged community, they deliver a broad calendar of events that facilitate knowledge-sharing, meaningful relationships, and ecosystem impact.

Role

  • Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of a high-quality events programme that showcases the firm as a trusted partner and influential voice within the European tech ecosystem.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of flagship summits, founder forums, operator workshops, intimate roundtables, and ecosystem gatherings.
  • Manage logistical elements including venue research and booking, supplier coordination, budget tracking, guest management, and on-site delivery.
  • Work closely with internal teams—marketing, platform, investment professionals, and leadership—to ensure events align with broader strategic priorities.
  • Introduce fresh ideas, new formats, and creative approaches to enhance attendee experience and engagement.
  • Support the maintenance of an organised and forward-looking events calendar, ensuring smooth planning and timely scheduling.
  • Handle event communications, including invitations, event collateral, briefings, and post-event follow-up, maintaining a polished and consistent tone of voice.
  • Gather feedback and track event performance, helping to refine processes and improve future initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting events within a fast-paced environment—ideally venture capital, tech scale-ups, founder communities, or professional services.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple moving parts while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for designing engaging, memorable experiences.
  • Confident relationship builder, comfortable working with senior executives, founders, operators, and ecosystem partners.
  • Experience with supplier coordination, logistics management, and budget support.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear and compelling event materials.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented approach, comfortable navigating evolving priorities.
  • Passion for the tech ecosystem and creating events that bring people together and deliver real value.
