Head of Communications

We are currently supporting our client, a middle-east headquartered but global infrastructure and large-scale built environment developer, as they look to make a Head of Communications hire. Known for delivering, managing and redeveloping multi purpose projects, our client has contributed to the advancement of modern and integrated living across the globe.
The Head of Communications will lead the strategic planning and execution of the company’s corporate communications, media relations, and reputation management efforts. This role requires a visionary communicator with a deep understanding of the infrastructure and development landscape, who can position the company as a global leader in transformation and innovation.
Role
Role:
- Develop and implement an integrated communications strategy that aligns with corporate objectives and enhances stakeholder perception globally.
- Lead all external communications including media relations, press releases, interviews, crisis response, and executive positioning.
- Oversee internal communications to ensure alignment, engagement, and consistency of messaging across the organisation.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on communications strategy, messaging, and brand reputation. - Cultivate and manage relationships with key media outlets, industry influencers, and government stakeholders.
- Drive thought leadership initiatives including speaking opportunities, white papers, and branded content.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, investor relations, legal, HR, and project teams to ensure consistent brand narrative and positioning.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing communications team.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in corporate communications, public affairs, or media relations, ideally within infrastructure, real estate, real assets, FS or large-scale development sectors.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong track record of managing brand reputation in complex, high-profile environments.
- Proven ability to navigate multicultural, multi-market communications in the GCC and international regions.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution skills and a deep understanding of media dynamics and stakeholder management.
- Experience handling crisis communications and reputation risk management at a senior level.
- Arabic language skills preferred but not essential.
