Our client is a leading and rapidly scaling AI business on a mission to make financial advice more accessible at scale. Having already built deep traction within a highly tight-knit professional community, they are now investing further in in-person engagement as a core driver of adoption, education and long-term loyalty. They are looking to hire an Events Lead to take ownership of a high-frequency, high-impact events programme that supports both their product and their mission.

Role

  • Own and deliver a national programme of regular, in-person events aimed at a specialist professional audiences
  • Design and run training-led formats including workshops, compliance-focused sessions and product education
  • Build a repeatable events engine capable of delivering consistent, high-quality experiences week after week
  • Lead end-to-end execution across planning, logistics, venues, suppliers, budgets and on-the-day delivery
  • Work closely with Community, Product and other internal teams to align events with the customer journey and roadmap
  • Nurture and activate a highly engaged community of advocates, turning events into a key touchpoint for relationship-building
  • Act as a visible host or facilitator where needed, creating welcoming, professional and well-run environments
  • Gather structured feedback and insights from events, feeding learnings back into the wider business
  • Manage and support a junior member of the events team, providing guidance, mentorship and oversight
  • Travel regularly to deliver events across multiple UK hubs, while maintaining a strong presence in the core team environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering high-quality, in-person events for a professional or B2B audience
  • Comfortable running training-led, educational or workshop-style formats rather than purely social events
  • Highly organised with strong operational discipline and attention to detail
  • Happy working at pace and delivering events frequently and consistently
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior or specialist audiences
  • Experience in managing a team, or a strong appetite and aptitude to do so
  • Willingness to travel regularly as part of the role
  • A genuine interest in the mission and a desire to build community, not just execute logistics
