Our client, a leading global blue-chip professional services organisation, is seeking to expand their IC team with the hire of an experienced and dynamic Internal Communications Manager to join their fast-growing wider Marketing & Communications function. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of shaping the  internal communications agenda for a truly global business while contributing to a high-profile and innovative MarComms team.

The MarComms function plays a pivotal role across the global business, engaging both internal and external audiences. The team delivers on a broad spectrum of activities, including:

  • Strategic communications planning and execution
  • Content creation and distribution across multiple channels
  • Social media, digital, and rich-media campaigns
  • Surveys, reports, and insights
  • Thought leadership initiatives and executive profiling
  • As part of this function, you will be joining a collaborative and ambitious team that operates across key hubs in the US, UK, India, the Middle East and Japan, providing the opportunity to make a global impact.

 

This is a hands-on role focused on supporting the development of the, still relatively new, internal communications function. You will play a key role in shaping how the organisation communicates with its people, ensuring activities are aligned with business objectives and broader MarComms initiatives.

Role

  • Managing the strategy, planning, and execution of global internal communications campaigns, ensuring they are timely, engaging, and aligned with business priorities
  • Overseeing the day-to-day delivery of internal communications initiatives, supporting the full lifecycle from ideation and content development through to approvals, implementation, and evaluation
  • Working closely with the Group’s HR and Talent Acquisition teams, as well as divisional leaders, to gather insights, coordinate activity, and support stakeholder alignment
  • Ensuring and supporting global cohesion across service and sector lines by aligning internal communications with business development priorities and cross-functional growth initiatives
  • Coordinating and managing external marketing/communications agencies to ensure high-quality delivery of internal campaigns
  • Supporting change management initiatives, staff engagement programs, and other employee-focused communication activities
  • Monitoring campaign effectiveness, analysing feedback, and contributing to continuous improvement of internal communication channels and approaches
  • Providing guidance to business leaders on internal communications best practice and supporting consistent messaging across the organisation

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a motivated internal communications professional with a strong track record of delivering effective internal communications programs across multiple regions. You will bring:

  • Experience as an internal communications specialist, either in-house or agency-side, ideally with exposure to professional services, financial services, or technology environments
  • Solid understanding of internal communications principles and a genuine passion for engaging employees across multiple channels
  • Familiarity with social media, digital, and rich media tools, with experience managing campaigns across diverse platforms
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and navigating complex, international organisational structures
  • Prior experience managing or mentoring team members, with the ability to support development and encourage high performance
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging that resonates across cultures and geographies
